Revival gift of Mrs. Michael Falk

Der Rosenkavalier received nineteen performances this season.

Note: The silver rose used in this season was on special loan, originally presented to Convent Garden on December 10, 1975, before a performance of Der Rosenkavalier in memory of Raimund von Hofmannsthal, the son of the librettist Hugo von Hoffmannsthal. The rose, designed by Fulco di Verdura, was commissioned by Raimund's family and friends and his associates at Time Incroporated.
